From Mayne Island, BC artist Hissing Mink comes this serious of gorgeous and charming printed paper garlands.
When the nights are long and snow covers the land, we find the folk tales of midwinter. This paper garland features eight illustrated folk tales from around the world, from Krampus, Belsnickle and Jólakötturinn, to Mari Lwyd and the Wild Hunt.
The garland measures around 6 feet long, with each flag around 6" high, and is made from scratch in Canada. It is intended for indoor use only.
